Green sorting - Intake
The intake is responsible for receiving dried packages of lumber, removing sticks from the packages and with a high efficiency provide the facility with lumber.
The intake between saw line and sorting has a crucial role in today’s highly efficient sawmills.
Buffer
There is often a need for the ability to use a buffer, so that shorter stops in the sorting line can be managed without having to stop the saw line.
A buffer is used during temporary stops in the green sorting, to receive and store an abundance of lumber from the saw. This is done so that the production will not halt. After the buffer is resolved it is emptied simultaneously as the abundant lumber from the saw is received and sorted.
