AS Toftan has grown into one of the Baltic region’s most advanced and productive sawmills, with an annual output of approximately 350,000 m³. Toftan 1, originally built in the mid-1990s using mostly second-hand equipment, laid the foundation. Toftan 2 marked a new era — a modern greenfield project focused on high-efficiency stud production.

CGV was proud to deliver both green and dry sorting systems for what would become one of Europe’s leading stud mills. As with every project, our partnership with Toftan was built on trust, collaboration, and a shared focus on long-term performance — resulting in a facility that exceeded all expectations.
Both lines are connected to a shared stick handling system with accumulation from the dry sorting line, significantly reducing forklift traffic and streamlining overall flow.
